North Hill House is very clear and ambitious in its desire to ensure all of its staff are fully trained and have clear career paths within the organisation.

The effectiveness of the staff hinges on team spirit in which the needs of the student are paramount. The head teacher, teachers, care staff and learning support assistants work closely with the parents to manage the educational needs of the student together. Administration, catering, domestic and gardening staff complete the team. The key to the success of the school is staff versatility, flexibility and enthusiasm. Professional Development North Hill House actively encourages research in the areas of Asperger's Syndrome and Autism through staff development, INSET opportunities and sponsorship for a wide range of professional courses. We are proud to offer an NVQ training programme for our Learning Support Staff and Care Staff in line with National Standards. Our staffing group are encouraged to bring to the team their own experiences, opinions and initiatives in order to forge a centre of excellence for our students.
